Our open source Content Management System, MySource Matrix, helps leading organisations such as the UK's NHS and the Australian Federal Government to manage their content more efficiently and cost-effectively.  It also helps top brands such as Boots and Oxford University to provide more services and sell more products via the web.

Squiz is a privately owned company, founded in Sydney Australia in 1998.  Squiz has an international network of offices in London, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Hobart and Wellington that provide a local service to hundreds of clients across a broad spectrum of industries.  Our MySource Matrix Content Management System is internationally recognized as best in class (Gartner).
 
Squiz's international growth has been entirely funded from cash flow, allowing us to boast an always profitable, debt free history.

Squiz built its first Content Management System in 1998. At that time, we understood that content management would play a critical role in providing new levels of control, flexibility and efficiency in the online publishing process; and that open source software would grow and dominate many segments in the enterprise software marketplace. 

In particular, we knew that open source solutions would replace many commercial software offerings as the solution of choice for web application environments.

During this time, we have successfully developed, launched and supported MySource Classic product suite (version 2 of the CMS) under a general open source licence. (MySource Classic is a powerful page-based tool for building and managing your online projects including websites and intranets, and is still available today for download.) 

More recently, in 2001, we re-developed MySource Classic to produce MySource Matrix (version 3 of the CMS). MySource Matrix is an enterprise-class ‘asset’ based Content Management System that is specifically designed for medium to large-sized organisations.  It is also available under an open source licence, via the MySource web site, and it currently powers the web sites of leading organisations such as Informa, Boots, Royal College of Nursing, the  NHS, the Australian Federal Government and Oxford University.
