Funnelback Pattern Analyser - Query Spike Detection for the Analysis of User Search Patterns
Funnelback Search includes an intuitive web based administration interface which gives our clients the ability to tune their search rankings and manage search features. The administration interface also includes a number of extensive query reports which can be used to monitor search behaviour over a short or extended period of time. These reports provide insight into user behaviour, search query volume, the proportion of successful searches and much more.
Funnelback's Pattern Analyser is also able to detect query spikes which can indicate changes in user demand or the effects of a marketing campaign. The administration interface provides a report indicating the magnitude and duration of each spike in search traffic and can also provide intelligence on the geographic regions where the changes in search pattern are occurring.
The query spikes detection reports are available in the 'Analyse' section of the administration Interface. From there you can also set up automatic email alerts to inform a number of recipients if a query spike is detected, or to send a query detection report on a regular scheduled basis.
