Squiz and Funnelback at the IWMW 2010
Squiz will be attending this year's Institutional Web Managers Workshop at Sheffield University from Monday 12th to Wednesday the 14th of July. The theme of the event is 'The Web in Turbulent Times', with a heavy focus on the economic challenges faced by web managers in the HE sector.
Squiz have a large number of clients in the Education sector, largely because our Content Management and Search solutions deliver the budgetary control, usability, interoperability and feature-sets which this diverse market demands. At IWMW, we will be discussing the ways in which our products and services can help web managers in the HE sector to retain control of budgets and increase their ROI. We will, of course, also be offering demonstrations of our products for the delegates to see the solutions we have provided for the HE sector already, and to find out how we may be able to help them too.
One of our recommendations is to improve website search in order to maximise the results from web investments and even save money. Offering fast and usable access to your online information ensures that users can find what they're looking for on your websites, making your sites more usable, maximising the productivity of staff and enhancing the ROI on your business information. It can also reduce the support costs associated with enquires and customer service, and improve the promotion of courses and research.
