Partnership with Squiz is all about openness. Our business is based on it - from the source code of MySource Matrix through to the way we make ourselves accountable to your plans, projects and requirements.
We deliver professional services - ie, we deal in people time not a shrink wrapped product. This means we need to be good at making the value of our services visible to you. As such, we run our entire business on a sophisticated Intranet which accounts for every working minute of every day for all of our staff - and we give you access to it so that you can track how our time is being used, in real time.
We also provide you with access to our online ticketing and bug tracking system to ensure that our work together is always made visible and open and can be audited properly.
Beyond this, we work alongside you to help you deliver the following kinds of project planning deliverables prior to starting our work....all of which ensure that your project can be delivered on time, on quality and on budget:
Pre-Build Project Deliverables
Project Planning: A Technical Lead and Project Manager will discuss with you your project requirements and devise the best way to implement the solution - with the sole aim of devising the most high performing, secure, reliable, scalable and cost-effective system possible.
Project Implementation Plan:Our project manager and one of our technical leads will work with your project management team to create the project implementation plan (often a Word document accompanied by a Microsoft Project document).We work with you as a seamless editing and reviewing team to ensure all critical project information is validated by both parties before your client sees it and that timelines and budgets are feasible.
Functional Specification:Our technical team, led by our Technical Director will work with your technical team to create the solution's functional specification. This document will detail how the CMS platform will work, and how we will be implementing each individual element.
Once the project planning collateral is signed off by your client, we then work through the following implementation stages with your technical team...
System Build Deliverables
MySource Matrix CMS training: we offer a range of formal courses to your technical team to help them build their Matrix-based skills in design, styling, content management, and advanced content assets and CMS functionality (such as tagging, user-generated content and blogging).
System Implementation: once all system designs are signed-off by your client, we can then help you to deliver a working solution on Matrix by taking all or part of the implementation work off your hands. How much we do is up to you. You may decide that standard template coding and CMS tweaking are things that you'd want to keep in-house - and just have us handle the more tricky development or integration work. Or you may want us to do the lot. Either way, with an implementation plan in place, we can deliver.
Once a working system is delivered, we can then work with your project team to deliver the following essential pre-live services…
'Go Live' Deliverables
End-User Training: we can either train the trainers (ie, your project team), or deliver client end user training sessions ourselves via our in-house training suite in the City.
Bug tracking and fixing: we'll work with your technical team to divide up the devil in the detail, helping you to find the bugs and fix them.(Again, we can do all or part of this work, as you see fit.) To do this we can use a number of standard tracking and fixing tools - yours or ours.
Documentation editing: where implementation methods have changed, we can help you to keep your client deliverables up to date and air tight by providing an editorial service for all key 'go live' document deliverables - such as User Acceptance Testing documents and revised implementation plans.

Launch Deliverables and Ongoing Support Services
Hosting: you can choose to deliver your Matrix-based system via our fully managed hosting centre, which sits 15 metres underground within an ex-MOD nuclear bunker outside the perimeter of the M25. It's hardcore - ultra secure and ultra scalable. All of our top systems are housed within it.
SLA's: for a fixed monthly fee, we can provide a proven incident severity and resolution management system, meaning that all post-launch support is managed seamlessly by Squiz...24x7, all day, every day, and with service delivery guarantees of 99.5% and higher.
Service Pack Support for Ongoing Development: if your client is already looking ahead to the next phase of system development, then we can provide you with weekly or monthly allocations of service time....and in turn you can draw on them for the implementation of new system functionality. Or, we can begin the process again, starting from the top as we specify a whole new development plan together.
